Free Dental Implants


A large percentage of the population does not have dental health insurance. Since dental insurance does not usually cover all of the cost of dental implants, even people with insurance may be looking for free dental implants.

People with disabilities who are own Medicare often have poor dental care due to a lack of coverage for dental work. People who are on Medicare or other state health insurance are not provided with dental care. Some state health insurance companies will pay for emergency dental care such as an extraction, but not usually for a dental implant.

Dental clinics may be a source of free dental implants. Dental clinics offer free and low-cost dental work to low-income families. Dental clinics throughout the country have their own eligibility guidelines. Many offer help based on the individual or family income. Some offer help to the homeless and people who are HIV positive.

If dental implants can help a person become employed or get a promotion, the person may be eligible for free dental implants through a vocational rehabilitation office. If the person has missing teeth or toothache pain and a dental implant has been recommended by a dentist, the person may want to consider this option. The person must show that they cannot pay for the procedure and the procedure will help their employment status.

Some charities may be able to help a person receive free dental implants. Give Back a Smile provides cosmetic dental work to victims of domestic violence. If a person who needs dental implants and has been a victim of domestic violence, the person may want to ask this charity about their program.

This is only one of the charities that provides free dental care. A person may want to check with local offices of United Way to learn of any possible help from charities for a dental implant. Another source of information may be the person’s state dental association.

A person in need of free dental implants may want to seek help from a local school of dentistry. The school may provide free or low cost dental implants. Students who perform dental work are supervised by professionals.

    I need upper and lower full set dental implants. I was just turned down by the give back a smile program for domestic violence was told because my former spouse did not knock out my teeth I did not meet the guide lines.I am a master cosmetologist and had a three year practice as an esthetician. I became unemployed when the spa I was contracted with went bankrupt. Due to lack of confidence I often find my self unable to smile but not with out hope. Thank you for your time, Kellie Fowler
