Believe it or not, there are legitimate sources for free dental work. Some people have taken advantage of this need and use it to sell directories of dentists or other information that may or may not contain any useful facts. If a person in need of dental care knows where to look, the person may be able to find local sources of free dental work.
If the person’s dental needs are causing pain or may be responsible for preventing career advancement, the person may be eligible to receive free dental work from the local Vocational Rehabilitation office. Vocational Rehabilitation agencies are government funded agencies that help people obtain employment.
Though these agencies are mostly focused on helping people with disabilities, they may also help people with other physical needs that are interfering with their employment. The Vocational Rehabilitation agencies will not pay for dental work that the person is able to afford on their own.
Some charitable organizations specializing in dental care occasionally offer free dental work for low-income families. These free dental clinics may be the only opportunity for low income families who do not have dental insurance to be able to receive necessary dental care. Even if the family has Medicaid, a vast majority of dentists do not accept Medicaid. This leaves many families without choices for dental care.
One charitable organization called Give Back a Smile provides free dental work to victims of domestic violence. This organization provides cosmetic dentistry services to domestic violence victims. This program is designed to boost the self-esteem of the victims who are likely to have damaged self-esteem due to the abuse. This program is coordinated through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In many areas across the country, charity events such as free dental days are held by local dentists. These events have their own guidelines about who is eligible to receive free dental work at the event. For many of these events, people who work, do not receive Medicaid, and do not have dental insurance are targeted. Other such events may only require that the individual’s or family’s income falls under their predetermined limit.
People who need dental work but cannot afford it may want to search for these resources for free dental work.

Hey, I loved the post! I recently read this magazine article about ‘cosmetic dentistry terms you should know’. I’m looking into getting some porcelain veneers, and I always thought that an Apioectomy was something totally different from what it actually is. Just goes to show… RESEARCH before you dive into something like this! Anyway, keep up the excellent writing!

Ola, terrific site you’ve put together here. I really liked reading this writing. I accidentally found it today and soon found that it was very worthwhile, so it led me to add a note. I know several others will probably have the same view about this subject. So, I’ll visit again when I find some free time to read more. This is funny, but I was just telling my wife concerning this subject, so this information was timely. I will favorite this blog and subscribe to the feed also. Thanks very much.
